Why are the works being carried out? |
As part of the A1073 Spalding to Peterborough Improvement Scheme, traffic calming measures are to be introduced into Welland Road. This option is regarded as the best design to reduce traffic volumes, slow traffic, improve safety and improve access to services and other facilities. The scheme includes
Work commenced on 19 April 2010 and is expected to take approximately 26 weeks to complete.
